Rosemarie Giordano Obituary

Rosemarie Giordano was born in Passaic New Jersey on July 19, 1935. Rosemarie Giordano, “Babe” to her family and friends, passed away peacefully at her summer Residence in Lavallette New Jersey on February 28, 2026.

Visitation services will be Sunday March 8, 2026 from 2pm to 5pm at Bizub-Quinlan Funeral Home, 1313 Van Houten Avenue Clifton NJ 07013. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 9, 2026 at 9:45 am from the funeral home followed by a 10:30 am funeral mass at Saint Clare R.C. Church,  69 Allwood Road Clifton, NJ 07014.  Interment to follow at Crest Haven Memorial Park, Clifton.

Rosemarie Giordano is the daughter of Joseph and Anna D’Arrigo. Rosemarie is predeceased by her beloved husband The Honorable Judge Dominick Giordano, her brother Vincent D’Arrigo and sister Jean Mobilia: her son-in-law, William A. Carey III and niece, Sherrie Mobilia. Rosemarie was married to Honorable Judge Dominick Giordano for 70 wonderful years. They were the light of each other’s lives. Rosemarie “Babe” Giordano (nee D’Arrigo); is survived by her daughters Beverly Carey and Valerie Riggi and her son Dominick Nicholas Giordano ; son-in-law Robert Riggi; daughter-in-law Michelle Giordano; her six grandchildren, William Carey, IV (Shayna Rosen-Carey), Kimberly Yarnold (Charles), Robert Riggi, Anthony Riggi and his fiancée Courtney Hammell, Tessa Giordano and Josie Giordano; four great-grandchildren Liam Carey, Madilyn Carey, Ariella Yarnold and Aiden Yarnold; her loving nephews and nieces, Kathy, Michael, Sal, Joey, Frank, Donna and Ginger; and her cousins, Vincent D’Arrigo and Nick Boscia

Rosemarie Giordano lived in the great city of Passaic for most of her life until relocating to the family’s summer residence in Lavallette in 2014. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who flawlessly curated her surroundings to create meaning and memories for family and friends and anyone she would come to know.

Rosemarie was a proud graduate of Passaic High School. Rosemarie Giordano will always be remembered for finding meaning in the simplest and most often overlooked moments in life. She masterfully turned the ordinary into extraordinary and gave life and light to everything she touched. The Home and hospitality was her passion and her gift. Rosemarie was masterful at her craft, beautifying her surroundings and living every moment of every day with purpose. Rosemarie, the family matriarch, was the heartbeat of the home. She expressed her love through cooking and decorating, feeding family and friends and sharing the warmth of her home. Her genuine and caring nature and her ability to transform the elements of daily life into unforgettable experiences will always be remembered by her family and all who knew her. Rosemarie loved the beach. Summer was a family tradition that she curated, filling every moment of every day. She believed that the summer season was short so it must be lived to the fullest. She bestowed upon her family, the same love of the beach and living a life by the sea at the Jersey Shore. Rosemarie Giordano summered  in Lavallette which eventually became her full-time residence. Rosemarie and her husband The Honorable Judge Dominick Giordano, AKA “Buddy” had the great fortune of seeing three generations of their family grow up by the sea. To them, there was no greater pleasure except for being together. “Babe” and “Buddy” are together now and at eternal peace.
